Violence

Dr Nancy Lombard talks about her research conducted with 89 primary school children in Glasgow. The research explored their views on violence, particularly about violence against women. The research involved an exploratory questionnaire, group discussion sessions and discussions of case studies.

Dr Niall Hamilton-Smith of the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research and Dr David McArdle of the Stirling Law School discuss football related violence and disorder in Scotland, with particular reference to the use and efficacy of banning orders.

It tells the story of Ian and Shavita who have been married five years, are in their early thirties and live with their two young children in an owner occupied home in an affluent suburb of Glasgow.
